my mommy has gone to heaven today i am not happy at all i didn't want her to go. when I found out that my mommy died because she could not breath for a second and my daddy heard her last breath it was beauty and sad at the same time. i started to cry when my dad told me so he took me to see her and i was scared, i didn't like the way she looked so i had to leave. my dad and us are going to play and cry and laugh and sing and dance so got to go. my mommy is a lot better with jesus.

You have been so brave today and I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you. It was ok to be scared when you saw your Mommy after she went to heaven. I'm glad you and your daddy laughed, cried, sang and played together. That's exactly what your mommy would have wanted you to do. Your daddy is lucky to have you because I bet he was a little scared too. Whenever I get scared or lonely I like to hold somebody's hand. It makes me feel safe again.
I will say special prayers for you, your little sister, and your daddy. I will also thank Jesus tonight and ask him to tell your mommy I'm glad she isn't sick and doesn't hurt anymore. Your mommy's love will always be in your heart.

This is Joshua Guild again. As I told you yesterday I am back to share my story.
My mother and father adopted 5 kids who were without a mom or dad. When my mom died in July 2005 she left Susana 4 yrs, corianna 9 yrs, abbie 12 yrs, braylen 13 yrs and Jordon 15 yrs. My dad also has my handicapped sister (by blood) Jayna who requires full time nursing and she may go to heaven soon.
I told all of the kids about your story and they will come to your blog soon to write you some messages.
God is sending a lot of His people to show you His love.

We are so sorry that your mommy had to go to heaven, we will miss her very much too. But we are very happy that she is not in pain and singing with Jesus and the Angels. We are so proud of you. I am sorry for your loss. Your mom has touched so many people all over the world through her short life. She is now a princess and is sitting at the feet of Jesus. What a promise we have in Him. Even though you cannot see your mom, for now, she will always be with you and will continue to live through you and your sister. Haven, You seem like such a special girl. Can I tell you a story? It's make believe and I always told these stories to my children when they were your age. It's about two brothers named Piggy and Lamb.
Piggy and Lamb always played together. Their best friend was named Pony. These three boys always had so much fun. You seem like you like to have fun too. Right now you are sad because your mommy has gone to be with Jesus. If it's okay, I will tell you about one of their adventures.
It was Saturday morning and Piggy and Lamb got up very early. It was summer time and summer vacation was just beginning. When they opened their bedroom window they could hear the birds singing outside. It wasn't noisy at all because all of their neighbors were still in bed.
Piggy and Lamb just knew that this day was the perfect day to have an adventure. They were so excited. They got dressed and didn't even take a bath. And you know what they did? They very quietly snuck out the back door and ran to Pony's house where he was waiting for them.
They were all so excited but they didn't know what they were going to do.
Pony said that maybe they should go exploring in the woods and that's what they decided to do. They walked down a dirt road and when they got to the end they could see all the beautiful trees.
They were so excited they ran through the grass until they were right next to the trees.
But when they got there, they were very nervous. Do you know why, Haven? They were nervous because they had never been to the forest by themselves before.
Very slowly they started to walk in the forest. It was very pretty. There were leaves all over the ground that made crunchy noises when they walked on them. Their were big, giant trees and even some small ones.
The boys were so excited they ran all over the place. And then they saw something they never expected to see. There was a stream of water that came down from the hills and it was now right in front of them.
The boys took their shoes off and were walking in the stream. The water was very cold. And then all of a sudden Lamb started spashing water and got Piggy and Pony all wet. So of course they had a big water fight and when they stopped they were all soaking wet.
The sun was now very bright and the boys were dry before they knew it. Now it was time to go. They skipped breakfast and were getting hungry.
So they put their shoes on so they could go home. They walked for a long time when they realized that they were lost. They had never gone alone in to the forest and they didn't know the way out. They weren't sure what to do and they were a little scared.
But all of a sudden a voice said to them. "Are you boys okay?" It was a forest ranger and he could tell the boys were lost. So he showed the boys the way out of the forest and they went home.
Piggy and Lamb were happy to be home. They were so happy that they forgot they had not asked permission to go to the forest.
When they went into the house their daddy was sitting in his big chair. The boys knew they were in trouble.
Daddy told the boys to sit down. The boys then told him all about their adventure in the forest hoping they wouldn't get into trouble. After they were done talking, it was daddy's turn to talk.
He asked them why they went somewhere so early in the morning without asking permission? He told them he was nervous because he didn't know where they were. It was daddy who called the forest ranger to look for the boys. The boys didn't know the forest ranger had called their daddy right when he found them.
Daddy explained to them that what they did was wrong. He told them they could have gotten hurt or lost and nobody would have known where they were. The boys were sad because they realized they had scared their daddy and had done something wrong.
Their daddy told him that he loved them and was happy they were home. But he still had to punish them. They had to stay in the house for a whole week and Pony couldn't come play with them. It was a very long week being stuck in the house. But the boys learned a big lesson and they would never sneak outside again. After one week they got to go outside again and they had fun the rest of the summer.
Haven. Did you notice how much fun the boys had and how much their daddy loved them? They were very happy boys who had lots of fun all the time.
What the story didn;t tell you was that Piggy and Lamb's mommy had gone to be with Jesus one year ago. They were sad when mommy died. But guess what? Even though they missed their mommy every day, they knew she was in Heaven and she was happy every time her two little boys were happy.
You will always miss your mommy but Jesus will help you to be happy again. God bless you Haven! I hope you liked my silly story.

You are so brave and such a big girl! I'm so glad that you have such a wonderful daddy! I'm so glad that the three of you can play and cry and laugh and sing and dance! I hope that you will always be able to do those things together just when you need them the most!
I know that it's scary sweetie, but no one could ever be brave without first being scared.
Know that your mommy's great love will always be with you, your daddy, and your baby sister, for as long as you live! Know that it's okay to be mad, to be broken hearted, to cry until the tears won't come any more... know too that it's okay to laugh, and to laugh hard from way down deep inside when you feel like it. It's okay to be happy again, and you know what? That's exactly what your Mommy wants for you.
I know you will miss your mommy for a long time - even until you get to see her again in Heaven... and I know that you know your Mommy loves you so very much. I'm sure you know that your mommy wants you to be just as happy as you can be throughout your life, but she understands too that you can't help but to be sad at times - especially now.
What I'm trying to say is never feel guilty for feeling however you feel at any given time. And I agree with others... talk to JESUS about it... talk to HIM outloud if you need to - just like HE was sitting or standing there with you... HE understands, HE was seperated from HIS DADDY for a very long time here on earth... and I know that HE was sad, HE even cried.
